AHEPA NSW δυναμικό παρών στην εθνική εορτή του Macarthur (31/10/15)

Το AHEPA NSW έδωσε δυναμικό παρών στην εθνική εορτή των Ελλήνων του Macarthur. Στο Thirlmere RSL γιόρτασαν για πρώτη φορά ο νεοσύστατος σύλλογος Macarthur Greeks την 75η επέτειο της 28ης Οκτωβρίου 1940. Ο πολιτειακός πρόεδρος Γιάννης Καλλιμάνης κατέθεσε στεφάνι με γαλανόλευκα άνθη μαζί με το στέλεχος των Macarthur Greeks, Λάμπρο Παπαδόπουλο. Στεφάνι επίσης κατέθεσαν τα στελέχη του Thirlmere RSL.

AHEPA NSW , today had a strong presence in the celebrations of the Greeks of Macarthur for our National day . The newly launched club “Macarthur Greeks” celebrated in Thirlmere RSL , for the first time , the 75th anniversary of The OXI Day of October 28, 1940. Our State President Mr. John Kallimanis , placed a wreath of remembrance with blue and white flowers together with Mr. Lambros Papadopoulos of Macarthur Greeks. Other Thirlmere RSL officials honoured the day ,and placed wreaths too.
