10TH ANNIVERSARY MEDICAL AWARDS DINNER DANCE

Professor John Boyages presented Dr Peter J. Papantoniou and Dr Nicholas Cordato presented Dr Sacha Kepreotis. Irene Anestis on behalf of George Thomas, presented the George Thomas Award to Dr Kepreotis and a cheque for $5,000, and both Vaianos Oreopoulos and John Kallimanis presented the Ippokratis Award to Dr Peter J Papantoniou. Both doctors thanked everyone and the sponsors for their awards. Dr Peter J Papantoniou provided a short presentation on his work and research in orthopaedic and spinal surgery. Dr Sacha Kepreotis spoke briefly on his work on novel gene therapy treatments for heart failure and continues his research in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
