The Medical Awards Charity Dinner Dance is a major event that AHEPA Ippokraris Inc organises every second year recognising the contribution made by Greek-Australians in health science.
This year the recipient of the Ippokratis Award for outstanding achievement in medical research was Dr Betty Messazos, Specialist in Paediatrics and Endocrinology.
A second award bearing the name of our major sponsor, businessman George Thomas, went to medical student Dr Peter Farmakis, of Sydney University, who has completed his studies as a high achiever.
